EVRAZ NTMK Ball Rolling Mill

Ball rolling mill EVRAZ NTMK is a new production of seven sizes balls with diameters from 60 to 120 mm of the highest, fifth hardness group, which were previously produced only abroad.

The mill uses a new technology for hardening balls, developed by a Russian company. In the hardening each ball is in a separate cell, in the hardening drum, which allows it to be given high strength.

Balls are made from a special alloyed steel grade, they have high surface and bulk hardness, they evenly retain their shape during operation. The products are intended for mining and processing plants and the gold mining industry.

The capacity of the new mill is about 135 thousand tons of balls per year.
