Exporters of the Sverdlovsk Region Can Apply for Compensation of Product Transportation Costs

Enterprises of the Sverdlovsk Region can apply for state support to compensate for the costs of transporting exported industrial products. The application submission period has started on the "My Export" digital platform of the Russian Export Center. Applications are being accepted until March 23rd.

The program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia allows companies to recover part of the actual transportation costs incurred from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The total support budget for 2026 is 2.46 billion rubles.

The funds will be distributed on a competitive basis across industry sectors. 40% of the program's budget is allocated for mechanical engineering, 25% for the timber industry complex, and 25% for the chemical and cosmetics industries. Another 5% will be directed to support products from enterprises in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, and 5% for other industries.

The compensation amount can reach up to 60% of transportation costs for most industries, and up to 30% for products of the timber industry complex on certain routes. However, the support amount cannot exceed 11% of the value of the shipped products and 200 million rubles per organization.

The review of applications will take place from March 24th to April 22nd. The competition winners will be announced on May 12th. Detailed requirements for participants and the list of documents are available on the website of the Russian Export Center.

It is worth recalling that the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, set the task to achieve a two-thirds increase in non-commodity non-energy exports by 2030 compared to the 2023 level. A similar goal is set for the export of agricultural products – an increase of at least 1.5 times.

The Sverdlovsk Region is among the regions with developed non-commodity non-energy exports. The basis of supplies consists of metallurgy products, machinery, chemical industry products, and high-tech goods. Export support is being implemented, among other things, within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
