Rosseti Ural and the Government of Sverdlovsk Oblast signed an agreement to enhance the region's investment attractiveness

The cooperation includes interaction between the government, local self-government bodies, the grid company, investors, and developers to optimize the procedures for the technological connection of capital construction facilities to electric grids. The parties will also work together on the relocation and reconfiguration of grid infrastructure during the implementation of major investment projects in Sverdlovsk Oblast.

The document establishes unified and transparent principles of interaction for all participants in the process. Among the key areas of cooperation are reducing the timeframe and cost of technological connection, simplifying the process of obtaining permits, and providing consulting and expert support to investors and developers.

Special attention is given to synchronizing the investment program of Rosseti Ural with the needs of the region's growing economy, which will make it possible to ensure the timely supply of electricity to new production facilities, residential districts, and socially significant sites.

The implementation of the agreement is aimed at achieving the target indicators of investment attractiveness for Sverdlovsk Oblast, as envisaged by the national business environment model until 2030, as well as at improving the region's standing in the National Investment Climate Ranking.

"The document defines a mechanism for joint work that will reduce bureaucratic costs at the approval stage and significantly accelerate the implementation of investment projects. The faster and more transparent the technological connection procedures are, the more attractive the region becomes for business. We see the Government of Sverdlovsk Oblast as a reliable partner with whom we can build long-term projects and synchronize the development of grid infrastructure with the region's plans," emphasized Dmitry Vodennikov, General Director of Rosseti Ural.
