Sverdlovsk businesses invited to cooperate with Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan has traditionally been one of the most closed markets within the CIS. However, with the support of government institutions and engagement at the level of state authorities, real opportunities for doing business become available.

"Turkmenistan is among the top 20 key trading partners of the Sverdlovsk Region. We have significant prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, and we are ready to help entrepreneurs establish contacts with key players in this market," said Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region.

For companies from the Sverdlovsk Region, meetings with government representatives, potential business partners, and consumers of goods and services are planned in Ashgabat this autumn. Participation is also planned in the International Conference and Exhibition "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan" (CIET), which will take place on November 3–5. The trip is expected to last no more than four days.

Enterprises from the Sverdlovsk Region that produce goods or provide services for the following sectors are invited to participate: construction, industry, chemicals, and energy. Applications can be submitted from April 1 to April 24, 2026, by filling out an online form.

Application form

Applications are received and processed by the Sverdlovsk Region Investment Promotion Agency. The selection of participants will be carried out by a special interdepartmental commission.

Selection procedure

The event is organized by the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region. The business mission aligns with the objectives of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."
