Sverdlovsk Oblast retains leading positions in the ranking of event potential of Russian regions

"Sverdlovsk Oblast maintains its status as one of the key centers for business and event tourism in Russia and is a leading platform for holding large-scale forums, exhibitions, and conferences of federal and international levels. It is no coincidence that Yekaterinburg was chosen this year to host the International Youth Festival, which will bring together more than 10,000 young people from 190 countries. The region's high positions in the event potential rating are due to its modern infrastructure and professional approach to developing the event industry," said Sverdlovsk Oblast Governor Denis Pasler.
Sverdlovsk Oblast also took first place in the assessment of the indicator "Stimulating demand, improving the quality and accessibility of congress and exhibition services in the domestic and foreign markets. Forming a system for promoting congress and exhibition services in domestic and foreign markets."
Furthermore, the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM and the international construction forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild were named projects of the year in the "exhibitions" and "region congresses" categories.
The award was presented to the head of the Ural Congress Bureau under the Investment Attraction Agency, Evgeny Tarasevich, on January 22 at the award ceremony for the laureates of the annual Russian event industry EFEA AWARDS.
