The delegation of the Sverdlovsk region visited the Republic of Turkey

In the period from December 13 to 17, 2022, a delegation of the Sverdlovsk region visited Ankara and Istanbul in order to strengthen the trade and economic partnership between the enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region and the Republic of Turkey.

During the trip, meetings were held with representatives of state authorities, business associations, enterprises of the Republic of Turkey.

Within the framework of the International Exhibition of the Mining Industry "Mining Turkey 2022", a collective stand of the enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region was presented.

Four Ural companies presented their products:

• JSC Kamensk-Uralsky non-ferrous metal processing plant;

• LLC Spectron;

• LLC UralAktiv;

• LLC UralChemExport.

“For our company, the exhibition was productive and confirmed the significant interest on the part of Turkish, Iranian, Arab partners in the use of our innovative design pavement “Stone Carpet”. As a result of the event, we plan to further develop partnerships with foreign colleagues,” said Irina Seliverstova, Director General of UralChemExport LLC.

During the visit, a business forum "Development of foreign trade cooperation between enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region and the Republic of Turkey" was held. About 40 Turkish companies took part in the event.

“The trip turned out to be productive: we managed to find a potential partner for the localization of production, as well as establish contact with three potential distributors of our products. In addition, valuable information was obtained regarding the medical equipment market of the Republic of Turkey,” Andrey Kaletin, General Director of EMA Plant CJSC, shared the results of his participation in the business mission.

The visit was organized by the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. The operator was the autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Attracting Investments of the Sverdlovsk Region.
