The official opening of the factory “ATOM Cement” took place in the Sysert urban district
On August 12, 2021 the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev took part in the opening ceremony of the factory “ATOM Cement”. The investment project was implemented by “Atomstroykompleks Cement”
The project goal is to organize production of gray and white cement on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region. The design capacity of the enterprise is 550 thousand tons of high-quality cement per year.
Production of white cement by the factory in the framework of import substitution will cover at least 50% of demand for this building material in Russia and will help to reduce the costs of the housing construction and increase its availability for the residents of the Sverdlovsk region.
Together with this, the project is focused on reduction of the negative impact on the environment through use of the environmentally friendly technologies, particularly, wet cement production.
About 40 high-quality filters of the European manufacturers have been installed at the factory; production process is fully automated and operation of the equipment can be monitored online.
The project of construction of the new factory was supported by the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, and was recognized the priority project of the Sverdlovsk region in accordance with the order of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region dated April 17, 2019 No.157-RP (project participant status provides for tax incentives). The investment volume amounted to RUB 4.15 bln, 150 permanent jobs were created.
“ATOM Cement” is the 11th enterprise of the “Atomstroykompleks” group of companies together with the comprises for production of various building materials (twin blocks, paving slabs, silicate bricks).
