The plant opened by Denis Pasler and Alexander Novak will increase its production capacity

The Iset Forging and Mechanical Plant presented its technical capabilities as well as plans for further expansion of production capacity to representatives of customer companies from all over Russia.

As a reminder, the launch of titanium and heat-resistant billet production at the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone site in Verkhnyaya Salda was initiated in March this year by Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, and Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov via video conference call.

The new plant is a state-of-the-art full-cycle production facility: from ingot smelting to the final machining of titanium semi-finished products — bars, rings, and ingots. Once it reaches its design capacity, the plant is expected to produce up to 22,000 items annually.

"At the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone site in Verkhnyaya Salda, the investor intends to build forging and rolling shops. The area of the new production premises will total 4,000 square meters. The investor also plans to proceed with the next phase of its investment project on the territory of the Titanium Valley SEZ at the Uktus site near Yekaterinburg. An assembly production facility with an area of 2,400 square meters is planned there. On behalf of the region, we intend to provide maximum support for the successful implementation of these plans," said Andrey Antipov.

The projects are scheduled for implementation between 2026 and 2028. The volume of additional investments will exceed 1.1 billion rubles — investments in Verkhnyaya Salda will amount to 480 million rubles, and at the Uktus site, 635 million rubles. A total of 165 new jobs will be created.

As previously reported, the plant's launch was carried out in a record-short timeframe, with investments exceeding 1.18 billion rubles. The project is under the support of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The plant's launch is aimed at import substitution and supplying high-quality titanium to various industrial sectors. It also aligns with the objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
