The Sverdlovsk Region retains its leading position in terms of the country's event potential
The initial pool of the rating includes 89 Russian regions.

Such events promote the products of Urals enterprises, create a platform for the exchange of experience and ideas between business and government agencies. Our region, with the participation of Governor Evgeny Kuivashev, is actively attracting investment in the development of the event sector, which helps strengthen business ties and stimulate the development of related industries,’ said Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.
He noted that the region's event programme includes more than 100 exhibition and 500 congress events a year.
Among the business cards of the Middle Urals are the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition, the Russian-Chinese EXPO, the 100+ TechnoBuild International Forum and Exhibition, the Hitech International Championship of High-Tech Professions, the Russian Cities Strategic Development Forum, the Future Forum IT Congress and Exhibition, and the Big Open Dialogue Forum.
