Construction of a plant for production of high-purity magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate, sport magnesium (gym chalk) and precipitated silica
The goal of the project is to create an enterprise for the production of high-purity magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate, sports magnesia and precipitated silica through hydrometallurgical processing of serpentinite (the main component of enrichment waste generated during air separation of asbestos ores).
Solving the issue of further utilization of serpentinite is the most important environmental task of federal importance.
As part of the project, by 2025, a new production building and related infrastructure will be constructed in Asbest in the Sverdlovsk region, optimally designed for the technological process of Ultra Si Mining and Chemical Company LLC, and production on an industrial scale will be organized.
As a result of the project implementation, at least 300 jobs will be created, the company's turnover will be increased, and export of products will be established.
