Opening of dialysis centers in Sverdlovsk region

As part of the project, dialysis centers were opened in the region in Ekaterinburg, Kamensk-Uralsky, Nizhny Tagil, Berezovsky and Bogdanovich.

The opening of new clinics will not only improve the quality of life of dialysis patients, but will also contribute to the creation of 70 jobs.

At the time the project support agreement was signed, 11 clinics were part of the Ural Medical Center LLC in the Sverdlovsk Region.

As part of the project support agreement, the 12th dialysis center was inaugurated in Ekaterinburg on July 28, 2020. The event was attended by Alexey Orlov, First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Victoria Kazakova, Minister of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.

In the presence of Alexei Orlov, First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, an agreement was signed on December 11 to implement a project in the form of a public-private partnership in the healthcare sector. Andrei Karlov, Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Elena Mironova, Director of the Ural Medical Center, signed a concession agreement on the creation of a dialysis center in Berezovsky. For this purpose, the concessionaire undertakes to reconstruct unused premises in the building of the city hospital at its own expense.

On June 18, 2021, the 13th dialysis center was opened in Nizhny Tagil. The difference of this dialysis center from those already operating in Nizhny Tagil is the possibility to receive medical care not only in the field of dialysis, but also in the following areas: cardiology, endocrinology, nutrition, ultrasound functional diagnostics.

On September 17, 2021 the 14th dialysis center was opened in Berezovsky. The peculiarity of the center is that it was created with the funds of a private investor under the first regional concession in the healthcare sector. The center took only nine months to build and was opened on the site of the swimming pool at the hospital, which had been inactive for many years.

On July 08, 2022, the 15th dialysis center in Bogdanovich was opened. In Bogdanovich dialysis center patients from Kamyshlovsky city district, Sukhoi Log city district, Pyshma city district and Talitsky city district will receive medical care.

The main task of these medical institutions is to do everything possible to ensure that patients on hemodialysis live an active and full life.
