A plant that will produce tools for machine-building, metallurgical, mining, and oil and gas enterprises will be constructed in Pervouralsk. The construction is supervised by the Investment Attraction Agency of Sverdlovsk Region.

The plant will be built by the company Vostok-Ural. The enterprise has been manufacturing products for tube-rolling production since 2019. Currently, the company operates on a leased site and plans to build its own 1,500-square-meter production facility and a separate administrative complex.

The company is currently designing the future plant, which it intends to build within three years. According to preliminary estimates, the company will invest 250 million rubles in the project, and 55 jobs will be created at the site.

Vostok-Ural's key clients include TMK Group and other pipe manufacturing plants. In recent years, the company has also collaborated with manufacturers of fittings, non-ferrous metals, and nuclear power plant equipment, among others. Its product range includes gauges, mandrels, guides, spare parts for rolling mills, and other equipment and tools—over 500 items in total. The company also manufactures unique products according to customer drawings.

Vostok-Ural currently operates 20 machine tools. In the new workshop, the manufacturer will install larger-scale equipment to produce large components up to three meters in length. This will enable the company to compete with Chinese manufacturers.

The company has sought assistance from the Investment Attraction Agency of Sverdlovsk Region for project implementation.

"We are looking for available tax incentives. The Agency provided us with detailed information on support measures suitable for us, such as regional and priority investment project statuses, as well as industrial mortgages. We understand that with the help of the Agency's experts, we will be able to obtain these measures much more easily," said Sergey Bragin, the company's director.

Vostok-Ural expects to double its production volume at the new facility.

As part of the project, the company has already established a central blanking and cutting section in Yekaterinburg and opened a protective equipment sewing production facility in Nizhny Tagil, creating 50 jobs. The Agency assisted in finding a site for this facility. The development institution also helped the company establish cooperation with the Nizhny Tagil administration, employment centers, and training institutions. Together with them, the company developed a plan for attracting employees. With the Agency's help, the company secured an optimal preferential loan.
