A Sverdlovsk company has localized electrical equipment production in Uzbekistan

"It all started with the company's participation in a business mission organized by the government of the Sverdlovsk region, which opened the doors to the Uzbek market for us. Since then, PitON has firmly established itself in Tashkent: over the past years, the team has implemented a number of large-scale projects, including opening its own engineering center and successfully fulfilling major industrial orders. After just a few years, the group of companies is moving to a qualitatively new stage, launching full-fledged production on the territory of the republic," noted Oleg Gusev, General Director of Energo-RS.
The plant specializes in the production of high-tech equipment critical for modern energy infrastructure: busbar systems, uninterruptible power supplies, frequency converters, and current conductors. Orders have already been placed at the new enterprise's facilities, including a contract for the supply of equipment for a holding company specializing in the production and wholesale distribution of soft drinks.
The opening took place as part of a business mission of a regional business delegation to Uzbekistan. The delegation included representatives from 14 industrial enterprises offering solutions for the energy and oil and gas sectors of Uzbekistan. The main goal of the visit is to expand business contacts and seek promising partners to strengthen cooperation with Uzbek companies in the energy and oil and gas industries.
"The products of our companies are successfully operating at key energy facilities in Uzbekistan. And we continue to see the interest of foreign partners in the solutions and competencies of our companies in the energy and electrical equipment sectors. I am confident that this specialized visit will allow our companies to solidify existing contacts with partners from the Republic of Uzbekistan, communicate directly with potential customers, better understand market needs, and offer new solutions that will contribute to the development of key sectors of Uzbekistan's economy," noted Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Yuri Patanin, General Director of the Sverdlovsk Region Investment Promotion Agency, discussed further development plans with the management of PitON, including the possible expansion of production at the Kosmos Technopark site in Yekaterinburg.
"The PitON company has been presenting its products at the collective stand of the Sverdlovsk Region at the INNOPROM exhibition in Yekaterinburg and Tashkent for several years in a row. The enterprise is developing production not only in our region but also in Tatarstan. Today's event is a clear example of successful entry into foreign markets. This is a joint project of two regions of Russia and Uzbekistan," noted Yuri Patanin.
As part of the visit, meetings were held with representatives of key energy and oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan, B2B business negotiations, participation in the INNOPROM. Central Asia exhibition, as well as a presentation of the capabilities of the Sverdlovsk region's industrial complex. Additionally, the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region organized the international business forum "Energy of the Future: Main Trends, Automation, and New Digital Approaches."
The operator of the visit of the Sverdlovsk Region delegation was the Regional Investment Promotion Agency.
