Denis Pasler announced the creation of a year-round thermal complex with an apart-hotel in the neo-Russian style on Lake Baltym

A tourist facility costing over a billion rubles will be built in the Sverdlovsk region on Lake Baltym, on the site of the existing "Ogon' Plyazh" (Fire Beach) recreation base. The entire complex is planned to be created in the neo-Russian style.

"Our region has many beautiful places and unique sites. We are proud of the distinctive culture of the Middle Urals, its history, and we are always glad to welcome guests. To create new points on the region's tourist map, we attract investors. An agreement on the construction of another facility was signed as part of the INNOPROM-2025 exhibition. The project is being implemented by the company 'Berezovaya Roshcha' (Birch Grove) with support from the Investment Attraction Agency. Investments in the construction of the new thermal complex with an apart-hotel will exceed 1 billion rubles," said Denis Pasler, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The thermal complex is planned to be built in 2028. It will be able to accommodate up to 400 people simultaneously, and the "Baltymskiye Termy" (Baltym Thermal Baths) apart-hotel is planned to have 80 rooms.

"We wanted the building's architecture to be an independent landmark of the region, as well as to reflect Ural authenticity. The concept includes techniques typical of the factory Ural: a stylized chimney, copper sheets in the facade decoration, while triangular gables and samovars give a new interpretation to the 'neo-Russian style.' The thermal complex will continue developing this idea: a malachite hammam, a copper bathhouse, and decorative elements will reference local color," said the project's executive director, Maxim Myagel.

The development of tourism infrastructure meets the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."

We remind you that earlier, Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler reported that the Middle Urals is among the top ten most popular tourist regions in the country. He emphasized that for further successful competition within the country, work will continue in the region to create high-quality infrastructure for comfortable recreation.
