Denis Pasler discussed the prospects of a large agricultural complex in the Verkhnyaya Pyshma urban district

Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler visited the Baltym agricultural complex in the Verkhnyaya Pyshma urban district on May 5. The complex's main areas of operation are cattle breeding, raw milk production, and fodder crop cultivation.

"The cattle population at the Baltym agricultural complex is around 1,500 head. Over 6,000 tons of milk are produced here annually. In addition, the enterprise is a regional leader in the development of land reclamation. Plans are currently underway to introduce technology for collecting and treating rainwater and wastewater for further use, as well as to implement a project unique to the Sverdlovsk Region involving the use of reclamation irrigation systems for growing fodder corn. The Baltym agricultural complex has room for growth; in particular, it needs to increase productivity," said Denis Pasler.

The head of the region discussed plans for the further development of the agricultural enterprise, which has been operating since 1931 and is currently introducing new production technologies, with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the agricultural complex Evgeny Kremko. The management of the agricultural complex plans to build the second and third stages of the complex, including the construction of calf housing facilities, hay and straw storage warehouses, a meat processing workshop, and the creation of a feed preparation area.

The development project for the agricultural complex is being supported by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Several projects related to digitalization and automation are being implemented simultaneously at the agricultural complex. For example, the application of automatic water heating technology in cattle drinking bowls has been introduced, and a project to minimize the spread of odor from production has been implemented. This work is aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the "Food Security" national project.
