Denis Pasler reported on the development of data center infrastructure in the Middle Urals

Unique facilities for servicing critical IT infrastructure — modular data centers — are being produced in the Sverdlovsk region. Governor Denis Pasler shared on his social media that the Ural manufacturer's products will be presented at the INNOPROM-2026 exhibition.
"This is a promising format that allows data centers to be deployed in close proximity to a facility, for example, next to electrical substations. This will significantly reduce the costs of grid connection. The company DATARC has organized a full production cycle for modular data centers: from design and metalworking to equipping them with engineering infrastructure. The company was the first in Russia to implement a high-density modular data center project with a load of 30 kW per rack and is now preparing a second data center with a capacity of 50 kW per rack. The Ural enterprise's products hold 22% of the Russian modular data center market," wrote Denis Pasler.
The head of the region emphasized that special attention is being paid to the development of IT infrastructure at both the state and regional levels, and such modular solutions are becoming increasingly in demand, especially for locations with an energy surplus.
Denis Pasler expressed confidence that the Ural modular data centers will generate high interest among participants of the INNOPROM International Exhibition. It will be possible to explore the company's capabilities, as well as the developments of other manufacturers from the Middle Urals, on July 6–9 at the IEC "Ekaterinburg-Expo" venue.
Deputy Governor Dmitry Ionin reported that, in line with the governor's objectives, the development of IT infrastructure in the Sverdlovsk region is comprehensive in nature.
"Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler has set the goal of entering the top three leading regions of Russia in terms of data center infrastructure development. Together with relevant agencies and grid organizations, information on points with energy surplus has already been collected, land plots near such sites have been selected, work is underway with telecom operators to provide access to fiber-optic lines, and we are studying the capabilities of our manufacturers of modular solutions," said Dmitry Ionin.
The work is being carried out in accordance with the federal agenda and within the framework of the national project "Data Economy."
