From Implementation to Impact: Why Industry Needs Smart IT Investments

IT budgets in industrial investment projects are growing faster than ever: on implementation, support, integration, security, and analytics. But how can one tell whether the money is truly working for production and not dissolving into endless digitalization?

Let's discuss this at the roundtable at Boiling Point — Yekaterinburg.

We will examine where IT delivers real impact, how to evaluate the return on digital solutions, and when investment in technology becomes a necessity rather than just a modern trend.

"IT creates digital twins of enterprises. Today, enterprise IT itself essentially needs its own 'digital twin.' Over the course of more than 30 years, enterprises have accumulated several 'layers' in building their physical and software infrastructure. To assess the quality of this 'IT pie' as a whole and understand how to develop it effectively, it would be good to see it 'through and through,' as if on an X-ray. Tools that solve this task in an instant do not yet exist, but there are approaches and technologies that allow such challenges to be addressed within a reasonable timeframe. And there are case studies. These are what we will discuss, taking into account economic realities and the goals of enterprises," noted Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.

We invite executives, investors, business owners, and IT directors of companies to an open conversation.

We will talk about how to transform IT from a source of constant urgent tasks into a clear tool for business development.
