More than 401 hectares of land identified in Sverdlovsk Oblast under Rosreestr's "Land for Tourism" project

"For tourism development, it is important for us to provide businesses with clear and convenient access to land resources. Today, 55 tourist interest sites have already been identified in Sverdlovsk Oblast under the 'Land for Tourism' project. This means that the tourism potential of the territories is being translated into concrete investment projects — from selecting a suitable site to creating new accommodation facilities and infrastructure," noted Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast.

As a reminder, all information about land plots and territories designated for tourism and recreational purposes can be found on the portal of the Unified Digital Platform "National Spatial Data System" (NSDS). To do so, one needs to sel ect available land for tourism on the map and click the "Get Service" button.

"The project is aimed at bringing land into circulation for the development of the tourism sector and enhancing the investment attractiveness of regions. It will allow citizens and members of the business community to plan their activities effectively. Thanks to the 'Land for Tourism' project, 14 land plots with a total area of 30 hectares are already in use. A guest house has already been built on one of the plots, located on the premises of the Lugano recreation center in the settlement of Verkhnyaya Sysert," said Igor Tsyganash, Head of the Rosreestr Office for Sverdlovsk Oblast.

The development of tourism infrastructure is one of the areas of work of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Investment Promotion Agency. The Agency supports projects in this sector at various stages of implementation. Among them are the year-round resort "Baltymskiye Termy," the aqua-thermal complex "Kamenskiye Termy," and the country spa hotel "Aura Urala."

In addition, investment proposals in the tourism sector have been developed in the region — fr om creating accommodation and recreation facilities to developing recreational infrastructure. Investors are assisted in selecting a suitable site, assessing the territory's potential, and choosing support measures for project implementation.
