Sverdlovsk Region Once Again Recognized as the Best Region for Hosting Business Conferences

As a result of the awards, the region took first place in the category "Best Destination for Conferences of up to 300 Participants" and second place in the category "Best Destination for Conferences of over 300 Participants."

The "Best Destination for Conferences..." categories belong to the "Business" block and evaluate regions in terms of infrastructure, service quality, and capabilities for hosting business events of various scales. The award results confirm that the Sverdlovsk Region is in demand as a venue for both intimate business events and large-scale industry forums.

Earlier, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler announced major congress events for 2026 on his social media page, including the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom."

Each year, the region hosts hundreds of business events and industry forums. Their participants include more than two million business tourists. Holding events contributes to the development of business infrastructure, increased investment attractiveness, and the generation of additional economic activity.

"Developed infrastructure, modern congress venues, and experience in organizing large-scale events enable the Sverdlovsk Region to strengthen its position on the map of Russian and international business tourism," noted Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.

It is worth noting that organizing and holding business tourism events aligns with the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" and contributes to strengthening the region's economic potential.
