The Investment Promotion Agency of Sverdlovsk Oblast has confirmed its top-tier "A" category following an independent assessment by NAAIR
On June 3, 2026, as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a solemn ceremony was held to present the Certificate of passing the independent quality assessment to the Investment Promotion Agency of Sverdlovsk Oblast. The award ceremony took place at the general meeting of members of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR).

Based on the results of a comprehensive diagnostic, which included an assessment against 80 performance indicators, the Agency confirmed its "A" category, signifying 85% compliance with the Association's criteria.

The certificate was presented to Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast.

"For Sverdlovsk Oblast, this is an important confirmation of the high level of service for investors in the region. This award serves as an additional quality mark for businesses planning to develop in our territory and helps to increase trust in our work," said Dmitry Ionin.

Background on the NAAIR Independent Assessment:

One of the key goals of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) is to strengthen the role of specialized organizations working with investors, facilitate the exchange of successful experience, and promote its implementation in specific territories. To achieve this goal, NAAIR developed and launched a service for conducting an Independent quality assessment of the work of specialized investor relations organizations.

The independent assessment is a broad, comprehensive diagnostic of a regional specialized organization's work aimed at verifying the efficiency and quality of services provided to investors. It is conducted against 80 performance indicators. The assessment makes it possible to analyze the organization's current activities: conduct a review of documentation, procedures, and services, and identify strengths and weaknesses by obtaining an independent external perspective.

Based on the results of the assessment, a report with recommendations is compiled, which can be used to create a roadmap for further improving the organization's operational efficiency and the quality of service for investors.
