The Sverdlovsk Region is among the top 10 Russian regions in terms of economic potential
The purpose of the study is to assess the economic efficiency of the real sector of the economy of the subjects of the federation, providing primarily the welfare of residents.
"Governor Evgeny Kuivashev prioritizes improving the quality of life in the Sverdlovsk Region. The existing set of measures allows our economy to develop. And this is reflected in the objective indicators on the basis of which the rating is compiled: the amount of value added tax paid to the budget, the level of average monthly wages in the region, the aggregate profitability of enterprises and organizations," said Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Note that compared to the first quarter of 2023, the Sverdlovsk region retains its place in the rating. Currently, the region shares the position with the Republic of Tatarstan.
