The Ural company will send unique equipment to Asia that puts people on their feet after spinal injuries

The Ural manufacturer of medical equipment "Aspect Medical" will show a unique rehabilitation complex at international exhibitions in Central Asia.

Doctors use a simulator called "Krisaf" to help patients after spinal cord injuries and operations on the brain and spinal cord, stroke, as well as children with cerebral palsy.

The development of unique equipment began about 10 years ago, but all the necessary registrations were completed by 2019. On "Krisaf" patients are hung up on several cuffs. A computer program controls them to simulate different types of movements: running, walking, swimming, jumping, crawling. At this time, the patient is immersed in a virtual gaming environment, such as underwater. After rehabilitation on the Krisaf, patients can again move their arms and legs, and sensitivity returns to them.

In Russia, the development of the Ural scientists is already used by leading hospitals: the National Medical and Surgical Center named after. Pirogov under the Ministry of Health, Centers for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled. L.I. Shvetsova and "Tsaritsyno".

At exhibitions abroad, Aspect Medical plans to meet with rehabilitation centers in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In addition to the Krisaf complex, the Ural company produces assembly kits for ventilators.
