Production of construction materials
The Urals Federal Okrug occupies the 2nd place in Russia in terms of the volume of construction works (15.7%). The Sverdlovsk region is among the TOP-5 regions in terms of the number of construction companies.
Within the framework of the National Project “Housing and Urban Environment” it is planned by 2024 to increase the volume of the housing construction by 1.5 times.
The Region welcomes implementation of the new energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies using the advanced schemes, which will result in quality improvement and versatility of the construction materials. Key investment areas: production of varnishes and paints, certain types of cement, ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, CLT panels, polished sheet glass, thermal insulation materials, various types of plaster and porous ceramic blocks.
The Sverdlovsk region offers flexible mechanisms of support of investment projects, which are also intended for the enterprises engaged in manufacture of the construction materials.
